The Blue Lock team struggles against the World Champions.
The latest chapter of the Blue Lock manga kicked off the match between France and Japan. The pressure is on for Japan as France is the reigning U-20 world champion as well as the favourite to win. After some playful banter, the match finally begins. But Isagi and his teammates aren’t ready for France’s impeccable teamwork.

It’s time for the long-awaited Group A match between Japan and France. Everyone is excited as France is the reigning world champion and the favourite to win this year’s U-20 World Cup. However, with their 4-0 win against Nigeria in their first match, the Blue Lock Japan team is nothing to sneer at. Yoichi Isagi has become a symbol of hope for the Japanese football fans and everyone is eager to see if they can beat the French team led by Loki.
The players enter the field and Isagi and Loki greet each other. Charles asks if Shidou is still on the bench, to which Bachira says yes. The Contrarian then says it would be fun to wipe the floor with Blue Lock. Rin tells Charles to shut his mouth if he doesn’t want a broken nose during the game. The highly anticipated match finally kicks off, with Hugo on the ball.
The Blue Lock players watch in surprise as a lot of players from France run straight towards the Japan goalpost even before Hugo has kicked the ball. Hugo easily dribbles past Isagi and Rin. Hiori wants to stop him but with so many opposition players running into their territory, he doesn’t know which dangerous spot to protect. Hugo finally passes the ball and it seems to right up the field.
The Blue Lock defenders surround Loki, as they think the ball is coming to the ace of the team. However, Charles sneaks in just in time to steal the ball from right under their noses while Loki guards him. With a beautiful shot, Charles sends the ball right into Blue Lock’s goal. France’s incredible teamwork and playstyle was able to break through Blue Lock’s entire system within the first few minutes of the game.
Blue Lock Chapter 330 review
Although I was expecting to see France giving Blue Lock a hard time, I didn’t think they would score a goal that easily. After playing against Nigeria, who depended too much on their ace Onazi to score, it’s refreshing to see that France likes to change things up. Although Loki is the genius ace of the team, everyone else can also score if given the chance, especially a brilliant midfielder such as Charles. It would be interesting to see how Blue Lock counters France’s gameplan and if they substitute players to change up their own style.
