Ahead of the release of its 8th episode, the latest anime adaptation of Fist of the North Star, titled “Hokuto no Ken” has just revealed three new voice cast members. Their characters will make their first appearance in episode 8, releasing on 15 May, 2026. Fans can watch the series on Prime Video globally.

Who are the production staff members of Fist of the North Star: Hokuto no Ken?
Hiroshi Maeda directs the series at TMS Entertainment, with Kazuma Ogasawara as the assistant director. Kazuhiko Inukai handles series composition, while Naoki Hisatsune designs the characters. Koji is the animation director, while Yuki Hayashi composes the music for the series.
What is Fist of the North Star: Hokuto no Ken about?
The anime is based on the original Fist of the North Star manga written by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara, which began publishing in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in 1983 and ended in 1988 with 27 volumes. The first anime adaptation of the manga by Toei Animation, aired from 1984 through 1988. The upcoming series is a remake of the original anime and manga.
