The manga will debut in September 2026, with Fire Emblem Engage manga artist Kazuro Kyou returning to illustrate the series.
Nintendo has announced that Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave will receive a manga adaptation ahead of the game's release later this year. The series will debut in the October 2026 issue of Saikyo Jump, which goes on sale in Japan on 4 September, 2026, before also becoming available digitally through Shonen Jump+.
Story details however, are yet to be revealed.
When will the Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave manga be in publication?
The manga adaptation will be illustrated by Kazuro Kyou, who previously handled the official Fire Emblem Engage manga.
The first prologue chapter of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave will be published in the October 2026 issue of Saikyo Jump on 4 September 2026, before also being released digitally on Shonen Jump+.
The announcement follows a similar release strategy to Fire Emblem Engage, which also received a manga adaptation illustrated by Kazuro Kyou shortly after the game's launch. That series ran for around three years, before recently concluding with its eighth volume.
What is Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave?
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is the next mainline entry in Nintendo's long-running tactical RPG franchise.
The game is set five years after the Heroic Games, as the Dagdan Empire faces a dark fate at the hands of the resurrected demon god Balor. The Four Heroes who played a major part in the Heroic Games have vanished, and the only person left to save the world from imminent doom is you, the main protagonist.
During the latest Nintendo Direct, the company showcased more of the game's Heroic Games system, character roster, classes, exploration features, and tactical combat, while also formally introducing the game's protagonist. Nintendo also released several tracks from the game's soundtrack through the Nintendo Music app following the presentation.
The game is scheduled to launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on 17 September, 2026.
