The 2014 anime movie Expelled from Paradise is getting a sequel after 12 years with “Expelled from Paradise: Resonance of the Heart”. The movie is set to premiere in Japan on 13 November, 2026.
Ahead of the premiere, the official accounts of the movie revealed additional cast members and a new teaser video.

Seiji Mizushima directs the anime at Toei Animation while Gen Urobuchi or Nitroplus is writing the scripts. Masatsugu Saiṭō designs the characters while Narasaki composes the music. Other staff members include:

The film will employ full 3DCG animation, and is set in the year 2400, when humanity has abandoned their physical bodies and earth to live in the cyberworld of Diva. The story of the film is yet to be revealed, but it is touted as a direct sequel to the first entry to the series.
