The light novel series Even a Replica Can Fall in Love (Replica datte, Koi wo Suru) is getting an anime adaptation soon. Publishing company Kadokawa opened an official website and social media accounts for the anime adaptation. A teaser trailer was released, which revealed that the anime is set to premiere in 2026, although no release date was confirmed. The main cast and staff of the series has also been announced.

- Nao and Sunao Aikawa voiced by Sumire Morohoshi (Yuki Itose in A Sign of Affection, Kyōka Izumi in Bungo Stray Dogs)
Ryuichi Kimura is directing the anime at Voil. Tomoko Shinozuka is writing the scripts with Misaki Morie. Eiji Abiko is the character designer. The official website of the anime revealed a comment from the original author of the series Harunadon. The illustrator of the light novels, raemz, has also created an illustration to celebrate the anime adaptation.
The light novel series of Even a Replica Can Fall in Love began publishing in 2023. A manga adaptation by Momose Hanada has also been published. Yen Press releases the novels in English and describes the story as:
When she doesn’t feel well, when there’s a test, when she doesn’t want to go to school... I take her place. I’m her replica. I’m not meant for anything else. But that changed when I fell in love.
