The anime is set to air in early 2027.
A few days ago, it was announced that the anime adaptation of the “ELECEED” webtoon has been postponed from 2026 to early 2027. The latest update from the anime came as its first main trailer, which also revealed five main cast members. However, the voice of Kayden, the most powerful Awakened and part time cat, remains a mystery.

Who are the main cast and staff members of ELECEED?
The five new cast members of the series are:
- Junya Enoki as Jiwoo Seo (Yuu Kazahaya)
- Tasuku Hatanaka as Wooin (Jin Tatsuoka)
- Setsuji Satō as Dr. Delein
- Hayato Dojima as Jisuk Yoo (Sota Yanagi)
- Shizuka Itō as Jiyoung Yoo (Amane Yanagi)
Although a character visual for Kayden has been revealed, his voice actor remains unknown.
Hiroshi Nishikiori is directing the anime at DandeLion Animation Studio, with Miyuki Wakai as the assistant director. Yosuke Kuroda handles series composition while Minami Sakura serves as character designer and chief animation supervisor. Taku Iwasaki composes the music.

What is “ELECEED” about?
ELECEED is based on the popular South Korean webtoon written by Jeho Son, and illustrated by ZHENA. The story is officially described as:
High school student Jiwoo Seo knows nothing of the hidden world around him. Terrified of his own mysterious powers, he lives quietly, concealing his abilities from everyone.
But everything changes the day he rescues a battered stray cat. “YOU IDIOT. CHECK WHAT ON ME？PUT ME DOWN NOW.” To Jiwoo’s shock, the injured cat talks. The stray is none other than Kayden—the most powerful Awakened being alive. Gravely injured and caught off guard, he had no choice but to transfer his consciousness into a cat to survive.
While he recovers and waits to return to his human form, Kayden takes up residence in Jiwoo’s home.
