On 25 September, the 12th and final episode of the new anime “Draw This, Then Die!” (Kore Kaite Shine) came out. Right after the broadcast, it was announced that the series is getting a second season.

The production of Season 2 has been confirmed, and the news came with an illustration of the main character Ai Yasumi. No other details about the second season’s possible release date or staff have been announced.

Hiroaki Akagi directed the first season of the anime at Shin-Ei Animation. Hiroki Fukuda handled the series composition, with scripts written by Aki Itami and Kanichi Kato. Takekazu Segawa designed the characters, while Hiroaki Tsutumi composed the music at Miracle Bus.
What is Draw This, Then Die! about?
The anime is based on Minoru Toyoda’s Kore Kaite Shine manga, which won the 16th Manga Taisho award in 2023, and the 70th Shogakukan Manga Award in 2025. The series began publishing in 2021 in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shōnen Sunday magazine. It has ten collected volumes as of July 2026.
