Dorohedoro Season 2 details

Season 2 for Dorohedoro was initially announced back in January 2025, and was originally slated to run within the same year. However, the anime would later announce in October that the series would be delayed to Spring 2026

Dorohedoro Season 2 will stream every Wednesday at 11PM JST (10PM SGT), starting 1 April.

Yuichiro Hayashi continues to direct the series at MAPPA. The first season of the anime came out back in 2020 to much acclaim throughout its 12 episodes. The series is based on Q Hayashida’s manga series of the same name. Viz Media publishes the manga in English and describes the story as:

In a city so dismal it's known only as "the Hole," a clan of Sorcerers have been plucking people off the streets to use as guinea pigs for atrocious "experiments" in the black arts. In a dark alley, Nikaido found Caiman, a man with a reptile head and a bad case of amnesia. To undo the spell, they're hunting and killing the Sorcerers in the Hole, hoping that eventually they'll kill the right one. But when En, the head Sorcerer, gets word of a lizard-man slaughtering his people, he sends a crew of "cleaners" into the Hole, igniting a war between two worlds.
