Unfortunately, no details about the anime’s possible release date, cast, or staff members have been revealed so far. Light novel and manga illustrator Yachimoto released a commemorative illustration to celebrate the anime adaptation.
Some Japanese media outlets have confirmed that the anime will specifically adapt the manga series.
What is Destiny Unchain Online about?
Resn started serialising the original story as a web novel in the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in May 2020. In June 2021, it was transferred to KDOKAWA’s online publication platform Kakuyomu. In November 2022, Kodansha started publishing the series in a light novel format under their Kodansha Ranobe Books imprint with illustrations by Yachimoto. Before that, in July 2022, Yachimoto also started serialising the manga adaptation in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket web service.
Kodansha also publishes the manga in English via the K Manga website and describes the story as:
