A new key visual and third promotional video has also been revealed.
The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the “Dead Account” anime has announced new updates for the series, which includes a new key visual, a third promotional video, additional cast, and a premiere date of 10 January 2026.

The additional cast are:
- Fumiya Imai as Dei Surugi
- Fen Sato as Minoru Wagari
- Maaya Uchida as Eru Kusaba
- Kentaro Kumagai as Ikko Owada
- Masaya Miyazaki as Kiri Namekawa
- Jun Fukuyama as Ban Ashina
Previously announced main cast are:
- Nobuhiko Okamoto as Soji Enishiro
- Koki Uchiyama as Kukuru Kasubata

The upcoming shounen anime is being directed by Keiya Saito at studio Synergy SP. Mitsutaka Hirota is the series’ scriptwriter while Keiji Inai composes the music at Nippon Columbia. The newly announced staff members include:

The Dead Account anime is based on Shimizu Watanabe’s manga of the same name. Kodansha publishes the series on their K Manga platform, which describes the story as:
