Kodansha’s K Manga platform announced in a new X (formerly Twitter) post that it will simulpub Daiki Yamazaki’s new manga “Golden Phantom” in English. All chapters of the manga are currently available to read on K Manga.

All available chapters of the manga have been released in English on the K Manga platform. It has also been mentioned that new chapters will be released around the 24th of every month henceforth.
K Manga describes the plot of Golden Phantom as:
While on an outing to an amusement park with his family to celebrate his daughter’s middle school graduation, Shingo Asahina encounters a mysterious man covered in blood being pursued by some unsavory characters. On the spur of the moment, he gets on the Ferris wheel with the wounded man to shelter him. When questioned, the man simply says “In 30 minutes, this amusement park will turn into hell on Earth,” and explains that in order to prevent disaster, he needs to “borrow” Shingo’s body…
Adam Hirsch translated the manga from Japanese to English, while Darren Smith did the lettering. Sarah Tilson is the editor of the English translation of the series.
Daiki Yamazaki began serialising the Golden Phantom manga in Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine on 25 February, 2026. The first compiled book volume of the series was shipped on 22 July.
Yamazaki is known for his popular manga Chaos Game, which began serialising in the Afternoon magazine in July 2022. The manga ended in June 2024. Chaos Game is also available to read on K Manga.
