The series is based on Fullmetal Alchemist creator Hiromu Arakawa’s new manga.
The main trailer of the upcoming “Daemons of the Shadow Realm” anime has been released. The latest update confirms that the series will begin airing on 4 April, 2026. Moreover, additional cast members and theme song details have also been unveiled. The anime is based on Fullmetal Alchemist manga creator Hiromu Arakawa’s latest manga.

The additional cast members of the series are:
- Rikiya Koyama as Migi
- Takako Honda as Hidari
- Miyuri Shimabukuro as Hana
- Junichi Suwabe as Jin Kagemori
Previously announced main cast members of the anime are:
- Kensho Ono as Yuru
- Yume Miyamoto as Asa
- Yuichi Nakamura as Dera
- Misaki Kuno as Gabu-chan
The opening theme song of the series is ‘Tobu Toki’ performed by Vaundy, while the ending theme song is ‘tobo yo’ performed by yama.
Masahiro Ando directs the anime at Bones Film. Noboru Takagi handles series composition while Nobuhiro Arai designs the characters. Other production staff includes:

The Daemons of the Shadow Realm manga began publishing in December 2021 in Square Enix’s Monthly Shōnen Gangan magazine. Square Enix also publishes the manga in English and describes the story as:
