The second season of “The Beginning After the End” premiered globally on 1 April, 2026. It has been announced by Crunchyroll that the English dub of the anime will begin streaming on Wednesday, 15 April. Ahead of the release, Crunchyroll also revealed the cast and crew working on the dub.

Keitaro Motonaga directs season 2 of the anime at studio A-CAT, with Takamitsu Kouno as the series composer. Masami Sueoka designs the characters while Keiji Inai composes the music. The original novel’s author TurtleMe is a story supervisor as well as an executive producer, with the others being Gabriel le Luu, Mike Zhu, and Kevin Nicklaus. Slow Curve is in charge of the production of the anime.
What is The Beginning After the End about?
The Beginning After the End anime is based on an American web novel series written by TurtleMe and illustrated by Fuyuki23. The series began on the platform Royalroad in October 2015. Later, it migrated to Tapas in January 2017 where it ended in August 2025. In July 2018, a webtoon adaptation by Fuyuki23 began in Tapas.
