Every year during the month of May, Crunchyroll hosts an event titled ‘Ani-May’, where the company celebrates everything anime with its subscribers across streaming, retail, gaming, and even real-world experiences. This year, Crunchyroll is offering a sale on its premium membership, which extends to 35 countries across the globe.
What are the Crunchyroll premium membership prices for Ani-May?
In a press release, the streaming platform announced that the new sale prices will extend to over 35 countries where Crunchyroll is available. In the United States, people will have to pay US$1.99/ month for three months of the Crunchyroll Fan membership, and US$2.99/ month for three months of the Crunchyroll Mega Fan membership. Both new and existing members are eligible for the offers, but it doesn’t extend to Crunchyroll manga.
The discount will be available from 7-21 May in supported territories. This includes: United States, Canada, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Mexico, and India. However, the prices, offers, and content availability will be different in each region. A few promotions which are only being introduced in India, Indonesia, Mexico, and Thailand, will be available all through 31 May.
Crunchyroll is also getting fans ready for the upcoming Crunchyroll Anime Awards, which will take place on 23 May, 2026. The full list of nominees for the awards have been revealed as well.
