The Lord of Dark Beasts returns this summer.
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yuji Iwahara’s “Clevatess” (Clevatess: Majuu no Ou to Akago to Shikabane no Yuusha) has revealed additional cast members, a new key visual, and a second promotional video for the anime’s second season.
The update also confirmed the ending theme song for the upcoming season.

The newly-announced cast includes:
- Misaki Kuno as Sarasa
- Koutarou Nishiyama as Edison
- Akira Sekine as Mirea
- Shirou Sano as Romaine
Who is in the staff of “Clevatess” Season 2?
Kiyotaka Taguchi returns to direct the second season at Lay-duce, with Keigo Koyanagi handling series composition. Souichirou Sako returns as character designer, while Nobuaki Nobusawa composes the music.
Additionally, music unit MYTH & ROID will perform the ending theme song “Awake Anew,” which is previewed in the latest trailer.
What is “Clevatess” about?
The anime is based on Yuji Iwahara’s action fantasy manga, which first launched on the LINE Manga platform in August 2020.Kadokawa later began serializing the manga under the Alive+ label on ComicWalker in July 2024.
Yen Press licensed the manga in English and is set to release the first volume on 25 August.
The first season aired in Summer 2025 with 12 episodes. Crunchyroll describes Season 1 as:
