The anime’s next episodes are hit with an unexpected delay.
The official social media accounts of the Fall 2025 anime “Chitose is in the Ramune Bottle” has unfortunately revealed a delay in broadcast.
The anime released its fifth episode just yesterday, 4 November, before announcing the postponement.
Delay caused by production issues
The announcement cited production circumstances as the primary reason for the anime’s unexpected delay, and through a machine translation states:
Regarding the broadcast of TV anime "Chitose-kun is Inside a Ramune Bottle" Episode 6 and beyond, we have decided to postpone the broadcast and streaming due to production circumstances and to maintain the quality of the main content.
Instead of airing in 11 November, Episode 6 will now air on 2 December, with the rest airing on these dates:
- Episode 7: 9 December
- Episode 8: 16 December
- Episode 9: 23 December
- Episode 10: 30 December
The production team also stated that broadcast dates and times may be subject to change due to scheduling and other reasons. Episodes 11 to 13’s streaming dates have yet to be announced.
The anime is based on the light novel series of the same name written by Hiromu and illustrated by raemz. The story revolves around Saku Chitose, who is an extremely popular high school boy and also the class president. He is the leader of a group of students known as Team Chitose, out of whom, Yuko Hiragi has feelings for him. One day, Chitose is asked by their teacher to visit Kenta Yamazaki, a shut-in student who needs to return to school. Much like Yamazaki, Chitose and his group tries to help students in need.
