Asa Rokushima's hit light novel series is getting an anime headed by P.A Works.
Shochiku has revealed that Asa Rokushima’s light novel series “Tsuihou sareta Cheat Fuyo Majutsushi wa Kimama na Second Life wo Ouka suru. Ore wa Buki dake ja Naku, Arayuru Mono ni “Kyouka Point” wo Fuyo Dekiru shi, Ore no Ishi de Itsudemo Kouka wo Kaijo Dekiru kedo, Nokotta Hitotachi Daijoubu?” (The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a New Life: I Can Add "Enhancement Points" Not Just to Weapons but to Anything, and I Can Cancel the Effects Whenever I Want, but Are the People Left Behind Going to Be Okay?), or shortened to “Cheat Fuyo” is receiving a television anime adaptation.

P.A. Works is producing the anime series, although other staff or cast is yet to be unveiled.
Rokushima began publishing the adventure fantasy story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2021. A manga adaptation illustrated by Youmochi Gyoumu launched in Kodansha’s Shounen Magazine R in October 2021, before transferring to the Getsumaga Kichi web manga portal in March 2023 following the magazine’s discontinuation. The series has surpassed 1.3 million copies in circulation, including digital editions, with its 19th volume set for release this coming 9 February.
Kodansha also publishes a light novel adaptation under its K Ranobe Book label, featuring illustrations by kisui. The first volume was released in January 2022, with the second volume following in October 2022.
