The upcoming fantasy anime series Champignon no Majo has just revealed some new and exciting details. Champignon no Majo anime cast, staff, and other details
The newly introduced character is Lize, voiced by Yuki Sakakihara (Neil Clay Maywood in Secrets of the Silent Witch, Joel Gear in Dr. Stone). The previously introduced main character of the anime is Luna, voiced by Haruka Shiraishi (Wendy Satō in High Card, Reiko Kujirai in Kowloon Generic Romance).
The Champignon no Majo anime is being directed by Yosuke Kubo at TYPHOON GRAPHICS and Qzil.la. Yuko Kakihara handles series composition while Miki Matsumoto designs the characters. The anime is based on the original fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Tachibana Higuchi, whose other notable manga series include Gakuen Alice and Portrait of M & N.
The story of Champignon no Majo follows Luna, a witch living deep in a forest alone. Her skin and breath are poisonous to humans and poison mushrooms grow in places she walks, earning her the name ‘Mushroom Witch’. The townspeople want to avoid her as much as possible, even though she often makes life-saving medicines for them in the hopes of creating connections with them. However things seem to change when she has a dreamlike encounter with another human.
