The chibi version of all your favourite BSD characters are coming back! It has been announced that the “Bungo Stray Dogs WAN! 2” anime will be released in July 2026. A new key visual has been released featuring the main children, as well as new ones.

The returning cast of the series includes:
- Yuto Uemura as Atsushi Nakajima
- Mamoru Miyano as Osamu Dazai

- Kensho Ono as Ryunosuke Akutagawa

Although the new key visual includes new characters, the voice actors for them have not been confirmed yet. However, we can assume that the voice actors from the original Bungo Stray Dogs anime will voice their chibi counterparts.
Toshihiro Kikuchi will continue to direct the second season of Bungo Stray Dogs WAN! at studios Nomad and bones. Toko Machida is the new series composition writer. Hiromi Daimi returns as the character designer while Taku Iwasaki continues to compose the music for the anime.
What is Bungo Stray Dogs WAN! about?
The original Bungo Stray Dogs manga is written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa. Bungo Stray Dogs WAN! is an official gag-manga spin-off illustrated by Neko Kanai. It has been serialised in Kadokawa’s Young Ace UP website since December 2015, and has released 15 tankōbon volumes so far. The first season of its anime adaptation came out in 2021. Crunchyroll streams the first season and will do the same with the second season once it is released. The platform describes the story as:
Bungo Stray Dogs: an action battle epic set in the bustling, fictional city of Yokohama, where the port winds howl as "gifteds" whose powers take after the giants of literature.
