Unfortunately, cast, staff, and production details are yet to be confirmed for the “Black Channel” anime adaptation. However, we can expect further announcements in the future.

What is “Black Channel” about?

Kisaichi first launched the manga in MiraCoro Comic in January 2020, where it was voted the most popular entry of the issue. After a short pilot in Monthly CoroCoro Comic in April 2020, the series began full serialization in October 2020.

Shogakukan released the manga’s 13th volume on December 26, with the 14th volume set to go on sale on 28 April. The series is also scheduled to move to Weekly CoroCoro Comic, with serialization beginning on 17 May.

A spin-off manga, Black Channel: Breaking the Wall, ran in Monthly CoroCoro Comic from June to August 2022.

A light novel adaptation by Shin Sukitake launched under the Shogakukan Junior Bunko imprint in January 2023, featuring illustrations by Kisaichi.

The story is officially described, through a machine translation, as:

A devilishly dangerous, devilish video creator has arrived!

The hottest trend right now is video creators!
