Bandai’s Battle Spirits multimedia franchise is coming back with a new anime this year! A new teaser trailer for the series, titled “Battle Spirits [Re] ZEKKAI NO KU”, has been released.
The anime is set to premiere in Fall 2026, although the exact release date remains unknown. The main cast and staff has also been introduced.

The main cast of the upcoming anime includes:
- Taichi Kusano as Kū Bashin (a cheerful and positive fan of Battle Spirits who hopes to become stronger).
- Daiki Hamano as Zetsu Ajara (a mysterious and unapproachable rōnin who is feared as the Eternal Battler master assassin).
Masashi Kudo is directing the new series at Bandai Namco Pictures. He is also credited for the original character designs. Toshizo Nemoto handles the series scripts.
Battle Spirits was originally released as a card game by Bandai and Sunrise back in 2008. Since then, it has received 11 total anime adaptations. The last anime, titled Battle Spirits: Mirage, came out in 2021. Fans are excited to see what the new anime brings for them after five years.
