The official YouTube channel of BanG Dream! has released a new trailer for its upcoming anime movie “BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora”. The film will premiere theatrically in Japan on 16 October, 2026. The video has also unveiled a new visual.

The movie will premiere in Japanese theatres on 16 October, 2026. It was announced in 2025 that the Ave Mujica band from the BanG Dream! franchise will receive a movie, and we finally have a release date!
The film is a sequel to the 2025 anime series Ave Mujica – The Die is Cast –, which currently streams on Crunchyroll. The story is described as:
Sakiko Togawa, whose stage name is Oblivionis, created the band Ave Mujica by personally recruiting its members. Alongside Uika Misumi as Doloris, Mutsumi Wakaba as Mortis, Umiri Yahata as Timoris, and Nyamu Yutenji as Amoris, the band has performed to great commercial success. Now Sakiko wonders why she should shoulder the responsibility of keeping the band going.
