The upcoming anime adaptation of “Arcanadea” has released a new trailer that revealed the series’ January 2027 premiere. The anime has also revealed more cast and staff members. The anime is based on the popular sci-fi and fantasy line of figurines by Kotobukiya.

The newly added cast members of the anime include:
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shōgo Kuga
- Konomi Inagaki as Kaho Asagi
- Mai Kanno as Rin Kirinoue
- Moka Kanzaki as Ghi
Previously announced cast members include:
- Kaede Hondo as Lumitea
- Miho Okasaki as Velretta
- Rina Hidaka as Yukumo
The original work is credited to Kotobukiya. Keiichirō Kawaguchi is directing the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab, while Atsuhiro Tomioka is overseeing the scripts. Kumoha Arakawa is adapting necömi's original character designs for the anime. Yuki Hayashi and Yuki Furuhashi are composing the music.
What is Arcanadea about?
The Arcanadea franchise was introduced in 2021 as a sci-fi and fantasy figurine and customizable model kits series. It specialises in monster and sci-fi girls. The sci-fi fantasy takes place in the near future where humanity experienced rapid technological advancement due to a new energy known as Arcana Particles, discovered by Eden Industries.
The new technology also includes a massive virtual space server known as Eden, where people can play the VRMMO ‘ARCANADEA’ game with a fantasy setting. After a sudden explosion at Eden, the world changes with people experiencing abnormal weather, communication issues, strange disappearances, and some people gaining increased physical abilities.
The franchise includes not only figurines but also a manga, and several other merchandise including a series of ASMR CDs.
