The school’s reputation is in ruins when the truth comes out.
In the previous chapter of the Spy x Family manga, we saw how Anya and her friends saved Henderson after foiling Mr. Swan’s plan. In the latest issue, we saw that Swan and the other teachers who helped him got arrested. However, the Eden Academy’s reputation takes a hit and the older students start to hate Anya and her friends. However, the school is proud of their work and all of them receive Stella Stars.

Spy x Family Chapter 127-2 recap
The chapter begins with Swaa and all his collaborators being arrested for trying to rig the Eden Academy admissions and framing Mr. Henderson. An investigation is also launched to find out the full extent of the corruption. Yuri Briar and some of the other State Secret Service men interrogate Swan, who says that the main evil is society’s obsession with wealth and how Eden has turned itself into a brand. He also said that he was done with seeing the show of wealth from the students while he was being paid a meager wage.
The Secret Service is annoyed as the story is getting traction from international media and some well-known Eden alums have asked them to make the problem go away quickly. Yuri asks where Swan got the offset printing press from, as it looks like contraband from the West. However, they never got to know who actually gave it to Swan. Moreover, Yuri is also suspicious about who tipped off the drivers during the busjacking incident. Overall, he thinks that there have been too many shady businesses around the school.
Later, we see some of the older Eden Academy students reading some derogatory messages written about the school’s faculty and students on the walls. But instead of being angry with Swan, they blamed the students who caught them as they don’t want to lose any job offers over this. We then see the Eden Academy Principal asking for forgiveness from Mr. Henderson and asking for his help to return the academy to its normal state. He thankfully accepts the apology and promises to aid them in any way.
Anya, Becky, Damian, and the other children who helped foil Swan’s plan are then called to the stage and each given a Stella Star for their courage. Henderson thanks them and tells how proud he is of them. Ms. Schlag then enters the room and congratulates them. But she also points out that as students, they shouldn’t have entered the off-limits old school building. She sends something small flying their way as punishment, and the children cry thinking she’s giving them a Tonitrus Bolt. However, it turns out it was only an umbrella sticker.
Although she doesn’t give them Tonitrus Bolts, Ms. Schlag warns them not to do something so dangerous without adult supervision again. Both Henderson and the students return to their normal school schedule. Later, we see George looking at Anya and her friends. When asked what’s wrong, George says that although he was with them every step of the way in the old building, nobody gave him a Stella Star. Everyone realises that they forgot about him altogether. Ms. Schlag apologises and gives him a Stella, which makes George happy.
Spy x Family Chapter 127-2 review
This chapter was a nice conclusion to this side plot, while also hinting towards something much sinister going on around Eden Academy. For now Anya and the other children are safe, as is Mr. Henderson. However, it seems that the problems for this academy are far from over as the Secret Service still doesn’t know who tipped people off about the bus hijacking and how Swan got his hands on an offset printing press. I’m excited to see which plot point Endo progresses in the next chapter.
