The children go into the scary house to find proof that Mr. Henderson was framed.
In the last chapter of Tatsuya Endo’s Spy x Family manga, we saw that Anya found the teacher who framed Mr. Henderson for leaking the exam question papers. In the recent chapter, she tells her friends about it and Connie says that the teacher smelled the same as the ghost from the haunted building. Anya and her friends then enter the abandoned building to find proof of Mr. Henderson’s innocence. But there are some villains waiting for them inside.

The issue begins with Anya determinedly walking away from the group to catch the guy who framed Henderson, but Becky stops her saying they have class. Later, at the time of the farewell party for Henderson, Anya says she’s not going. When her friends ask why she won’t attend, she tells them that she found out who was framing Henderson as he was laughing during the announcement before. Connie asks if it’s the ‘Ghost teacher’ as he smelled the same as the ghost in the haunted school building and she also saw him laughing.
Connie says that they should head to the old school building again to find more clues if he’s the culprit but Damian says they shouldn’t go back to such a dangerous place for such a stupid reason. However, Bill joins their conversation and says it’s not stupid because when they went to the old building before, he saw some stacks of papers that looked suspiciously like the incriminating fliers of Henderson. The group then decides to go into the building to save Mr. Henderson even though it’s dangerous. Ms. Schlag discovers them when they’re sneaking out but doesn’t say anything.
The scared children form a group and enter the building, but soon, they’re stopped by a massive man. He says the building is off limits and tells them to go. But Anya reads his mind and realises she’s one of the bad people trying to frame their teacher. When she tells her friends that, Bill engages in hand-to-hand combat with the man and says he always respected him because he’s the school’s rugby coach Mr. Armstrong. This gives the others a chance to run past them. As they approach the staircase, they’re then stopped by the school’s Chess Club advisor Gambitz.
Emile and Ewen are somehow able to grab onto Gambitz so that the other four can go ahead. But the five kids are stopped by Mr. Benzene, the school’s Chemistry teacher. He breaks some beakers filled with chemicals, which causes smoke to envelop the corridor. The smoke makes everyone sleepy but Becky, who is used to expensive perfumes. Connie, who is barely awake, gives Becky two garlic cloves and asks her to save Anya and Damian.
When Becky asks what she will do, Connie says she will stop Benzene. Becky uses the garlic to wake Anya and Damian from their stupor and the three run inside. Connie uses a magic string that’s attached to her sleeve to stop Benzene from following them. The final trio reach the classrooms and decide to start their search with the Fine Arts room as the rumours from the older students all say there’s a ghost there. But as they try to enter the dark room, a ghostly cloaked figure flies in over their heads. Damian and Becky are scared, saying there’s really a ghost in the room.
Spy x Family Chapter 125 review
After a long time, the manga finally came out with a fun, exciting, and silly chapter. The adventure of the children into the old building and facing teachers with weird names was fun. The whole thing gave off the vibe of different boss fight levels, which was awesome. But the underlying cause of them trying to save Mr. Henderson before it’s too late is what makes it all so heartwarming. I hope Endo continues with this storyline and we get to see if the kids are able to gather the necessary proof in time.
