The latest short story arc of the Spy x Family manga came to an end in the last chapter. After being forced to play Bumblina in the reshooting of the series by the terrorist, Yor had to give an explanation to her co-workers. On the other hand, Becky decides that it’s time for her to appear on screen just like Yor. So she takes Anya and heads to a popular street where people often get scouted by the entertainment industry agents. But of course, things do not go as planned.

What happened in Spy x Family Chapter 133?
The chapter begins with a news anchor on TV announcing that the Minister of Broadcasting has been replaced by Coryn Will after what happened at the TV station involving the terrorists. Yor’s co-worker Camilla holds her hand and asks if she’s okay, and why she couldn't find Yor at the station when she visited. Yor tells her she is fine and that she left the station early in a big car. Camilla, Millie, and Sharon talk to Yor about what happened and ask if she’ll continue acting, to which Yor says no. Suddenly, Hemlock, who has been working as Mr. Jones at Berlint City Hall with Yor, enters the room and expresses his displeasure.
He says that appearing on television and cohorting with thespians was the highest of improprieties. But McMahon says that even though Yor drew a lot of attention to herself, the Shopkeeper enjoyed her performance and said that it gave them a good opportunity to purge the corrupt minister. Hemlock is shocked to learn that this cavorting was seen as an act of loyalty to the homeland. Suddenly, Millie calls Hemlock from behind and in a flirty way, asks if he will cavort with her. Hemlock takes this as his chance to learn more about how he can serve his country better and immediately agrees with her. Millie is taken aback but happy about this.
The next panel then moves to Becky and Anya at their school. Some students talk about the new Bumblina actress, and Anya reveals that it was her mother Yor. Becky expresses her desire to act as well, and one of the girls inform her that a pretty 13th year student from their school was scouted off the street a few days back. Becky tells Anya that they will go to Lindon Street after school to get scouted. It starts out great, with Betty wearing really pretty clothes and a gorgeous hairstyle thanks to her stylist and cosmetician. But Anya is wearing a weird outfit and when Becky asks about it, she says it’s because she wants to be scouted by the captain of Thunder Mole Mark 2.
The two roam around a bit but lose patience soon when they don’t get scouted. After that, Becky and Anya start donning on more and more ridiculous outfits, but to no avail. Just one time, when they are wearing some gothic outfits, they are approached by the apparently clairvoyant man that Yor met a few chapters back. Done with waiting around, Becky suggests they put on a musical performance so the scouts will notice them more easily. However, due to their ridiculous outfits and weird singing, they are almost caught by the police. In the end, they are unsuccessful and Martha apologises to Becky’s father for what happened. Anya proudly shows off all the outfits and props she got from Becky to her mom and dad.
What to expect in Spy x Family Chapter 134?
As always, Tatsuya Endo leads with a complete fluff chapter right after a story bit comes to an end. Although it’s entertaining, it doesn’t offer us much in terms of plot progression. However, taking a few points from the chapter, we can expect to see a non-date date between Hemlock and Millie soon, and just the thought of Hemlock going on a date is incredibly funny to me. Moreover, we heard in passing that the Minister of Broadcasting has been replaced, which means the seat might now be filled with someone who has good ties with the Garden. This will change things and might affect how the government is functioning right now, putting Loid’s life in more jeopardy. But it all remains to be seen what Endo decides to do next.
