AnimeJapan has finally announced their 2026 “Manga We Want to See Animated” list. The voting period was open from 24 December, 2025 to 30 January, 2026. More than 222,000 people cast their votes for 48 nominees to choose their favourite. And the top 10 manga titles which fans want to see animated have been revealed ahead of the AnimeJapan 2026 event which will take place on 28 and 29 March.

1. The Mortifying Ordeal of Being Seen

The author began serialising this manga on their X (formally Twitter) account back in April 2023. Square Enix began publishing the series on their Pixiv Comic website under their Gangan Pixiv brand in December 2023.
