AnimeJapan2026 Day Two came with even more announcements, beautiful trailers and more!
The yearly AnimeJapan convention is one of the largest anime-related events in the world. This year, the AnimeJapan 2026 is happening over 28 and 29 March, 2026. With the second day coming to a close, here is a list of everything that was revealed today.

Here are all the new and returning anime series that have received updates today at the event:
The Eminence in Shadow: Lost Echoes
The sequel movie to the 2023 anime series “The Eminence in Shadow”, titled “Lost Echoes” will receive a theatrical release in Japan in 2027. Studio Nexus is animating the film.
Kindergarten Wars
Additional cast, studio, and a promotional video and updated teaser visual was announced for Kindergarten Wars.

The anime is being jointly animated by Sunrise and Felix Film.
Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4
The fourth season of Re:ZERO, covering “The Loss Arc” of the light novel series, is all set to premiere on 8 April, 2026. The Opening Theme song is titled “Recollect”, and is sung by Konomi Suzuki featuring Ashnikko.
Romelia War Chronicle
The series, which is slated for 2026, has unveiled additional cast members:

The Irregular at Magic High School THE MOVIE Yotsuba Succession Arc
The anime film adaptation of the “Yotsuba Succession Arc" for “The Irregular at Magic High School” is set to premiere in Japanese theatres on 8 May, 2026.
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Season 2
The second season for “The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten” has cast Marika Kouno as Ayaka Kido. The series is set to premiere on 3 April, 2026.
You and I Are Polar Opposites
The Spring 2026 rom-com “You and I Are Polar Opposites” has confirmed that Season 2 is set to premiere on 5 July, 2026.
Farming Life in Another World Season 2
Season 2 of “Farming Life in Another World” has confirmed a premiere date of 6 April, 2026.
Heroine? Saint? No, I'm an All-Works Maid (And Proud of It)!
The “Heroine? Saint? No, I'm an All-Works Maid (And Proud of It)!” anime has revealed its production staff, additional cast, and a promotional video. The series is set to premiere sometime in July 2026.

The upcoming romance fantasy anime has confirmed a 9 April premiere. The series was originally supposed to run last October 2025. The series will be streamed through Crunchyroll.
Sparks of Tomorrow
The Kyoto Animation-produced original series is set to premiere on 5 July exclusively on Netflix.
Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend
The anime finale of the “Rascal Does Not Dream” series will open theatrically in Japan on 16 October, 2026.
Suikoden
The Suikoden anime adaptation has unveiled additional cast and a fourth key visual. The series is set to air in October 2026.
