Isagi and Onazi share a moment of friendly rivalry after his final goal.

In the previous chapter of the Blue Lock manga, Isagi scored a miraculous 4th goal for the Japanese team. Their absolute 4-0 victory against Nigeria was celebrated by the players in the latest chapters. However, their upcoming opponents in the U20 World Cup, including Kaiser, Bunny, Charles, Loki, and a brand new character all have their eyes on Yoichi Isagi.

Warning: Spoilers ahead!

Blue Lock Chapter 326 recap

The chapter begins with everyone celebrating Isagi’s goal as the final whistle is blown. Japan defeats Nigeria with a score of 4-0. Isagi thanks Bachira for the pass as they celebrate together. Barou and Shidou, who didn’t make it to the top 11, talk about the match with each other. Oliver asks Isagi how much of the last crazy stunt he planned. Isagi answers that it was all ad-lib. He was inspired after seeing Onazi’s awakening and how Oliver stopped the goal. He then proceeded to put his own twist to Onazi’s move. Oliver thinks that Isagi’s ego is big enough to eat through Jinpachi Ego’s whole plan.

The Nigerian players feel dejected because of their loss. Kuso thinks about how Isagi and Blue Lock devoured all their egos and even Onazi’s awakening. Onazi agrees with his sentiment of Isagi being a monster, but says that Isagi broke open the tiny world they previously lived in. He thanks Isagi and says that he’s glad to have met him here. Isagi asks if he made a nice memory, and Onazi laughs and promises that he will surpass him someday. The two fist-bump in an act of sportsmanship and newfound respect.

Elsewhere at the German team’s hotel, Michael Kaiser squashes a can of cola. Looking at the screen he tells Isagi to stop smiling as it’s making him angry. Somewhere in Tokyo, Sae Itoshi yawns as the match ends and comments that Blue Lock should have won 8-0. At the Spanish team’s hotel, Bunny Iglesias recognises Isagi from when they met before. He laughs and says that he’s “one of us” too. At the U20 training ground of the French team, we see Charles Chevalier excitedly ask Julien Loki what he thinks about Japan’s level.

The New Generation World 11 player comments that they’re nothing but small fries with passion and topicality. Charles says he’s excited to play against people like Shidou and asks if they're going to face Japan in the second round. Loki says that he also wants to face Isagi again. In the end, he asks another player how he thinks about him. This player named Hugo, also a part of the New Generation World Eleven, answers that he’s unsuitable.

Blue Lock Chapter 326 review

I’m really thankful for the calmer chapter after the tension of the last few weeks. Even though we all knew Blue Lock would win, Isagi’s final goal still got everyone fired up. It was fun to see all the big league players giving their two-cents about Blue Lock and Isagi’s levels. It would be fun to see Japan facing all of these countries one by one. I’m also excited to see more of the new French player Hugo and his playing style.
