WIT Studio is producing the anime adaptation of Kana Akatsuki’s novels.
It was announced back in April 2025 that Kana Akatsuki's fantasy novel series, “Agents of the Four Seasons”, is getting an anime adaptation. Months later, the series, titled “Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring” has finally revealed its main cast in a new short character PV. The theme song artists have also been announced.
Unfortunately, the release window of the series is yet to be confirmed.

The main cast of the anime includes:
- Yuka Nukui as Hinagiku Kayo
- Yoshino Aoyama as Sakura Himedaka
- Sumire Uesaka as Ruri Hazakura
- Ranko Baba as Ayame Hazakura
- Hime Sawada as Nadeshiko Iwaizuki
- Taku Yashiro as Rindo Azami
- Shogo Sakata as Rosei Kantsubaki
- Satoshi Hino as Itecho Kangetsu

Vocaloid producer Orangestar will perform the opening and ending theme songs of the anime.
Ken Yamamoto directs the anime at WIT Studio, with Kazuhiro Furuhashi as the animation advisor. Ayumu Hisao handles the series composition, while Namiko Torii designs the characters. Kensuke Ushio is composing the music for the series.
The anime is based on Kana Akatsuki’s novel series, illustrated by Suoh. It began publishing back in 2021 in ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko light novel imprint. A manga series illustrated by Nappa Komatsu has been serialised in Hakusensha’s LaLa manga magazine since 2022.
Yen Press publishes the novels in English and describes the story as:
Winter was once the only season in the world-but such an existence was too lonely to bear, and so it created Spring to love. Before long, the earth wished for more time to rest in the cycle, and Summer and Autumn were born. The ones who carry the cycle are called the Agents of the Four Seasons. Hinagiku, the Agent of Spring, disappeared from this land ten years ago, taking the season of spring with her. Now, after incredible hardship, she has returned to restore the cycle to its proper state-and, as in the myth passed down since the dawn of time, she sends her love to Winter.
