The fantasy anime has also revealed a new cast member.
In a new trailer, the upcoming fantasy anime “A Tale of the Secret Saint” (Tensei Shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu) revealed its 3 October, 2026 release date. The first two episodes of the series will be released together on that day. The anime has also revealed a new cast member.

Tomoe Makino directs the fantasy anime at Felix Film, with Naoki Murata as the assistant director. Deko Akao writes the scripts while Satomi Kurita designs the characters. Kenichiro Suehiro composes the music and Ryōsuke Naya is the sound director.
The opening theme song of the anime is ‘Flare of Soul’ performed by Kaya, while the ending theme song is ‘Stellar’ performed by Utahime Dream All Stars. Hiroaki Suzuki from SUPA LOVE composed and arranged Flare of Soul and Kyōichi Miyazaki from KEYTONE and RUCCA wrote the lyrics for Stellar while Miyazaki also composed it.
What is A Tale of the Secret Saint about?
The anime is based on Touya’s light novel series which first began as a webnovel in January 2019 in the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. In June of the same year, Earth Star Entertainment started publishing the story in book volumes with illustrations by Chibi. In December 2019, a manga adaptation by Mahito Aobe began serialising in the Comic Earth Star manga website.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the light novel and manga volumes in English and describes the story as:
