The nominees for the 3rd American Manga Awards have finally been revealed! Japan Society and Anime NYC revealed the nominees across several categories. The winners will be announced on the first night of Anime NYC 2026, on 20 August at Japan Society in New York City.
Professionals who are working for North American manga publishers in an editorial capacity will vote to determine the winners across each category. Publishers Weekly and Comics Beat writer Deb Akao, also known for the Mangasplaining podcast, is leading the American Manga Awards planning committee.
